Memphis Tigers

I am an absolute proud fan of my hometown basketball team, Memphis Tigers. With the starting players of Joe Jackson, Tarik Black, Adonis Thomas, D.J. Stephens and “The Clutch”, Chris Crawford, I get enthusiastic watching them play every game. With their overall record of 31-5 the Tigers entered into the 2013 NCAA Basketball Tournament as the 6 seed. They then advanced to the second round and later defeated Saint Mary’s Gaels with the close score of 54 to 52. Unfortunately, when the Tigers arrived in the third round against Michigan State, they could not pull through. They lost badly with the score of 70 to 48. Their biggest problem was making their shots. Everything was so fast paced and in a rush that they couldn’t manage to control the ball and defeat Michigan.
Although, their season is over for the year of 2013-2013, I can honestly say that I am still proud of them. They still had a good season and maybe then they will play more dominate teams during their season to better help them prepare for the tournament next year. With their brilliant head coach, Coach Pastner, I am bound to see what the Tigers going to bring next year.
